During the past few years, we have been seeing a dramatic change in the food culture. People are more and more interested to explore and experience good taste when they eat. However, restaurant guides have not been able to keep up. For most foodies, the noise of innumerable online reviews and the manipulation of paid sponsorships make it hard to find trustworthy guides on where to dine.

World of Mouth is the world's most reliable and inspiring restaurant guide built by foodies for foodies. No rates. No paid ads. Just great recommendations. Founded by three food enthusiasts, whose purpose is to empower the genuine, passionate, and knowledgeable word of mouth of global culinary minds to help great restaurants thrive in every corner of the earth.

When World of Mouth arrived at Agency Leroy, they had reached a point in their journey where they were ready to take the next big step. Further develop the idea and design of the World of Mouth app to be able to start a new business and build the World of Mouth community. After a first end-to-end design, development, and launch of the World of Mouth app, where I have been responsible for each stage of the UX Design process and the development of the UI Design, our long and happy relationship has expanded into my integration into the team as Lead Product Designer. Working alongside the WoM team, I have helped transform and refine the World of Mouth app to face a new challenge: making the World of Mouth a paid service.

Today the World of Mouth community vaunts some of the global biggest names in the industry. Since the app launch (April 2019) over 500 top experts have started to use the benefits of World of mouth, writing collectively over 5000 recommendations from almost 1500+ cities around the world.
